IS IT TRUE THAT I NO LONGER HAVE TO EMPTY AND CLEAN THE GRAY WATER TANK?
Absolutely yes. First, separating the solids will eliminate the aggregates by washing them, and only water and cement will fall into the tank. The mixer will keep the liquid moving, eliminating sedimentation, and the filter press will take care of the filtration.
WHAT TYPE OF MAINTENANCE DOES THE SYSTEM REQUIRE?
Maintenance is minimal; replace the filter cloths once a month, an operation that takes a maximum of an hour, and some periodic inspections to check the clean water and air filters. Once a year, replace the oil in the hydraulic control unit and check the gearbox levels.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE PROCESS IS FULLY AUTOMATED?
The plant automation manages the whole system. Starting from the solid separation system, which is the only operation that the concrete mixer operator must do manually (press the start button), once the discharge begins, the gray water level increases and the filter press begins to filter until the level is not restored. Tiles will fall under the machine and will need to be removed periodically. When the level is restored, the system will go into standby after washing, waiting for more material.
The filtered water will be discharged into the white water tank or a tank that we can provide, and there, it will be measured and immediately processed to the neutralization system.
The pump that will take the water from the white water tank will not be able to start until the pH is within the established parameters and can be set from the touchscreen.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE SYSTEM WASHES ITSELF?
Cement is a material that is easy to filter but extremely difficult to manage in the plant. High pH and fouling are the main challenges. Keeping the plant clean or in constant motion is the main challenge. We have created a system that thoroughly hands the high-pressure filter cloths every time the pump stops, washes the pump and the pipes, and every time the machine opens to unload the tiles.

FILTER PRESSES WITH CEMENT DO NOT WORK!
True, a typical filter press with cement stops after a few months or weeks. The main reason is that it was not designed to work with concrete. Solutions with membrane or immersion pumps cannot work; washing the pump, pipes, and filter cloths is essential.
It is, therefore, necessary to rethink the entire system from scratch and create one dedicated to this sector, which is what we have done. Other producers are not very interested because these systems are not profitable and are highly problematic as they have not created a specific system.
WHY USE CO2 FOR NEUTRALIZATION WHEN I CAN USE AN ACID?
CO2 is the most straightforward and most economical system, and above all, it leaves no residues; the first problem you will find in neutralization with acids is the management of the acid itself, which requires precautions and safety systems, then the dosing pump, which usually works in clean environments but in a concrete mixing plant is certainly not the best environment. Then, the problem of neutralization residues: if you use hydrochloric acid, you will find chlorine which is not exactly compatible with the reuse for mixing cement; sulfuric acid will also leave sulfur residues and nitric nitrates, all not compatible with either mixing or with exhaust. CO2 is by far the best solution.

I HAVE ONLY ONE TANK, THE GRAY WATER TANK, WHERE I CAN PUT THE FILTERED WATER AND NEUTRALIZE THE PH?
It is unnecessary to have two tanks or build a second underground tank; we can provide a tank of adequate size to collect the filtered water and neutralize it. This solution is undoubtedly cheaper than expensive excavations to create a second tank.

Of course, always through the same App, the system manager can communicate with us at any time, 24/7, regarding any problem or doubt regarding operation.
WHAT GUARANTEE DOES THE CONCRETE WR SYSTEM HAVE?

Year 1: Full on-site warranty, including travel, labor, and shipping costs
Year 2: Limited warranty on parts, shipping, and labor costs (excluding travel expenses)
Urban Tech Italia will also supply the equipment with spare parts, which remain the property of Urban Tech Italia and must be adequately stored. The spare parts set reduces machine downtime. The parts mentioned above remain the property of Urban Tech Italia. The customer must return or purchase them at the end of the first year of warranty.
CAN WE USE ANY FILTER CLOTH ON THE SYSTEM?
The filter cloths will have to be replaced with cloths supplied by us for the entire warranty period. For this reason, we have created a subscription plan for our customers, which will allow the material to be sent monthly, and thanks to the dedicated app, it will remind the system manager of the replacement. The clothes are a critical point of the system; a wrong choice can damage it, and the filter material we have chosen results from long tests and checks and is, by far, the best solution for concrete.
HOW CAN I MANAGE THE INSTALLATION OF CO2 CYLINDERS ON MY SYSTEM?
Linde Gas and the Customer will cooperate in drafting the Safety Documentation (Plan
Safety and Coordination) for the execution of on-site activities.
The Customer undertakes to provide Linde with all the Safety Documentation (PSC or
DUVRI and Emergency Plan).
Linde Gas Italia will provide all the Documentation and information regarding Safety, the
precautions to be taken, the methods of correct use of the products supplied, and the risks associated with the activities
that will be carried out.
